Luke van der Beeke recently flew to Brisbane to attend a Program Design Working Group meeting for Diabetes Queensland’s Health for Life! program.

The purpose of the meeting was to inform the approach that will be taken by the Health for Life! program – a new healthy lifestyle program that will be rolled out State-wide.

The program is funded by the Department of Health Queensland and involves organisations including Diabetes Queensland, the Heart Foundation (Qld), the Stroke Foundation and Griffith University’s Social Marketing @Griffith.

Marketing for Change was approached by Griffith University’s Professor Sharyn Rundle-Thiele to assist with the social marketing aspects of the program.

“It’s an honour to be working with Sharyn and the rest of her team on such an important public health initiative,” Luke said.
